Veritas Theater is here to bring captivating and unique theater to Ojai. We want to make weird and wonderful things. We want to have a good time while doing that. We believe in the ritual of art and the grace that deserves to be given to it. We invite you to join us as we create art and community in Ojai.
Rosie Gordon, Artistic Director
Rosie was born and raised in Ojai, and has been involved in theater and the performing arts for over 30 years. In the past few years she’s directed Becky’s New Car, The Fantasticks, Witch, and The Crucible. She’s acted in Lobby Hero, Rapture Blister Burn, Rabbit Hole, The Moors, The Revolutionists. She’s produced Into the Woods, Deer, The Thanksgiving Play, Rope. She loves theater and she loves Ojai.
Her approach to theater is simple - make good art, and have a good time doing it.
Hannah Luyet, Managing Director
Managing Director Hannah Luyet is a born and raised Oxnard, CA local who got their BA in Theatre and Performance from San Diego State University in 2023. She was the company manager of Method Machine Lab in 2024 and the co-founder of its relaunch as Veritas Theater in 2025. She has been seen around Ojai working as an actor, stage manager, props master, sound board operator, light designer/board operator, and everything in between. She is passionate about cross disciplinary training in local theatre and strives to offer opportunities to anyone who feels passionate about creating innovative, out of the ordinary performances. Come make something weird and wonderful with us!
